Radiosens is a revolutionary safety system from JCM Technologies for roller shutter doors. It eliminates the need to install a safety edge to the bottom of the door, instead all that is required is to screw a transmitter onto the bottom slat of the door. The transmitter communicates wirelessly with the control panel’s receiver and detects impacts against obstacles, when the force exceeds the limits allowed by the standards the door immediately reverses the movement.

 

The system is compliant to the same level as a traditional safety edge, but saves considerable install time and money.

 

Radiosens3 is compatible only with the VERSUS range of control panels, which come a selection of specifications for both single and 3 phase doors. The impact detection sensitivity is adjustable to suit the door, and the maximum door width the system can be used on is 4 metres.
